Does anybody remember the old Capital Plaza shopping center?

Does anybody remember when McDonald’s was located right next to Weiner’s in the Capital Plaza Shopping Center in North Austin (between IH-35 and Cameron Road) before the remodel? I’m at debate with my mom about this. There is no longer a Weiner’s there now (it’s now Ross) and the McDonald’s moved to the front of the strip about 15 years ago… right?

    I remember the old Cap Plaza, the Target used to be Montgomery Wards, and there was a Grandy’s there. I think you’re right about McDonalds.
