With all the schools lacking in government funding, parents of children often find themselves on the short end of the stick and have to help raise funds for their kids schools. If you find yourself at the next PTA meeting being asked for ideas about how you can help raise some cash, stick up your hand and shout ‘cookie dough’.

Traditionally schools use bake sales and car wash events to raise funds. The problem with both of them is that they take up way too much time. Most parents are so strapped for time that they end up buying their baked items at the grocery store (not all of course but many do).

Well, an easy solution to the problem is to have a ‘no bake sale’ and sell cookie dough instead. There are a couple of places where you can easily get cookie dough for wholesale prices. In fact, it is a very big win, win situation. The parents can buy the dough without the guilt of not having made it from scratch, the school wins because there is typically 30% to 50% to be had in profits and the people who love fresh cookies win too because they get to enjoy hot cookies whenever they want to.

So, next time your in a pinch to come up with an idea to raise money for your school, think cookies fundraiser and remember what you have just read.

There are tons of places online where you can get sales on high quality brand name products. And often these vendors have sales and discounts. It is my goal with this site to bring these deals to you on a regular basis.
